Abstract  By utilizing the acid rain observation data obtained automatically and manually in 2021 from 3 acid rain observation stations in Yinchuan,Zhongwei and Guyuan,Ningxia, this paper analyzes the difference of acid rain data from automatic observation and manual observation respectively and the reason for the difference. The analysis result shows that the automatic acid rain observation system can operate stably and complete set of data can be obtained.Besides, the precipitation sampling period is in good consistency with reference precipitation period.Higher pH measurement accuracy can be obtained by the system. The precision for conductivity measurement still needs to be improved and the performance is required to be further enhanced.
