Abstract By utilizing the conventional meteorological observation data and ECMCF numerical forecasting products,this paper makes an analysis of the weather system evolution and physical characteristics of the rainstorm processes occurred in multiple places of Hohhot during the period of August 6-7 of 2022.It also analyzes the contribution of lifting conditions,water vapor conditions and stratification conditions on this rain storm,summarizes the indexes of physical quantity field,which are of indicative significance and illustrates from different angles the causes for the rainstorm processes.
