Abstract This paper introduces the system composition and function,signal output level and other early warning procedures of Pre-storm2.0 rotating-vane atmospheric electric field meter in detail.At the same time,combined with the occurrence,development,monitoring and early warning system of thunderstorm process in the jurisdiction and the threshold control of atmospheric electric field amplitude,the statistical principle and amplitude difference method are used to analyze the typical thunderstorm process.The results are expected to improve the accuracy of early warning and provide necessary support for disaster prevention and mitigation in the jurisdiction.
