Abstract:As a new kind of atmospheric measuring tool,laser ceilometers has the characteristics of high temporal-spatial resolution,which are widely used in monitoring the spatial distribution of the clouds.Using laser ceilometers measurement cloud base is one of the most practical method,and finding an effective cloud base high inversion algorithm is the core of laser ceilometers high-tech measurement.This paper mainly introduces the currently used methods about inversion cloud base such as Kleet method,differential zero crossing method,integral method and threshold method.And their basic principles are described in detail.The corresponding results are derived in formula and the current research situation is listed up.Finally,the current problems existing in the cloud base high inversion algorithm are summarized and the future development trends of cloud high inversion algorithm are analyzed.
