Abstract:In order to explore the relationship between extinction coefficients of different detection light wavelengths in typical environments, and improve the accuracy of visibility measurement, this paper calculates the extinction coefficients of six typical environments in four types of land, sea, desert and city by using the optical properties software (OPAC) of cloud and aerosol particles. The correction value Ecd of the relationship between extinction coefficient and wavelength in typical environment is defined. The results show that the correction value Ecd of the six typical environments with wavelength can be divided into two categories. The first category includes continental and urban types. The Ecd is divided into two linear changes in the band. The second category includes ocean and desert types, and the Ecd decays exponentially. Thus,a typical environment and aerosol extinction coefficient as a function of relative humidity and wavelength are established.
