Abstract:Using hourly wind speed station observation data from 1980 to 2023,statistical methods are employed to study the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of wind speed,effective wind hours,and wind power density.The conclusion shows that there is a significant spatial difference in the average annual wind speed of 10 meters in Yichun City over the years,and the annual average wind speed of 10 meters shows a consistent decreasing trend,with a significant decrease in the northern part compared to the central and southern parts.The effective wind hours in Yichun City do not exceed 2 600 hours,and the effective wind hours in the southern plain are higher than those in the northern hilly areas,with an increasing trend in annual effective wind hours.The wind power density in Yichun City is 40-50 W/m3,and the wind power density in the southeast is lower than other areas.The annual average wind power density shows a decreasing trend.
