Abstract:Accurately calculating the design peak discharge of small watersheds is of great significance for the construction of electric power projects and water conservancy projects.This article selects 16 small watersheds in Inner Mongolia and calculates the design peak discharge under different frequencies based on the single-parameter regional comprehensive method,the multi-parameter regional comprehensive method,and the Water Conservancy Academy method.By comparing the calculation results,it is found that the results obtained by the three methods show good consistency overall,indicating their good applicability in Inner Mongolia.The calculation results of the single-parameter regional comprehensive method are smaller,followed by the multi-parameter regional comprehensive method,and the Water Conservancy Academy method yields larger results.Therefore,when calculating the design peak discharge of small watersheds in Inner Mongolia,it is recommended to use the multi-parameter regional comprehensive method or adopt multiple methods for separate calculations,and comprehensively analyze and compare them to determine the final results.The calculation and analysis of the design peak discharge of 16 small watersheds in Inner Mongolia can provide a reference for hydrological analysis and calculation of other small watersheds in the region.
