Abstract:The article takes the northwest of Jilin Province as the research area and systematically analyzes the impact mechanism of major climate factors such as precipitation, evaporation, and temperature on the quality level of cultivated land.By reviewing relevant literature and field research data, combined with regional soil types and agricultural production practices, this study explores the characteristics and causes of changes in cultivated land quality under different climatic conditions.Research has shown that the climate characteristics in the northwest of Jilin Province, such as low precipitation and uneven seasonal distribution, strong evaporation, frequent freeze-thaw cycles, and windy springs, significantly reduce the fertility level and stability of cultivated land, thereby affecting the classification of cultivated land quality grades. In humid years or areas with sufficient local water sources, the quality level of cultivated land is relatively high;In areas with frequent droughts and severe salinization, the quality level of arable land has significantly decreased. Therefore, scientifically evaluating the impact of climate factors on the quality of arable land is of great significance for optimizing land use structure and enhancing the comprehensive production capacity of arable land.
