Abstract:Based on the lightning positioning data in Shijiazhuang from 2016 to 2021,the rubrics,IEEE recommended formula and CIGRE recommended parameters were used to compare and analyze the probability distribution characteristics of the amplitude of ground lightning flow in the different polarities in plain and mountainous areas,and the least squares method was used to obtain the recommended formula and parameter value of lightning current amplitude suitable for Shijiazhuang.The results show that 63% of the ground flash is negative,and the proportion of current amplitude in the range of 1 kA-70 kA exceeds 96%,The probability distribution trend line of lightning current amplitude is closer to the negative ground flash;the most negatice ground flash occured at 10 kA-20 kA,accounting for 35.66%,while the most positive ground flash occured at 1 kA-10 kA,accounting for 51.90%;the average amplitude in plain area is larger than that in mountain area,and the negative ground flashes are higher than the positive ground flashes;after parameter correction based on the formula recommended by IEEE,the calculated trend line of cumulative current probability is basically consistent with the statistical value,and the correlation coefficients are more than 0.99.The median current of lightning current amplitude in Shijiazhuang is obviously smaller than the IEEE recommended value,close to CIGRE,and the median current of negative ground flash is higher than that of positive ground flash.
