Abstract：The article utilizes the maintenance information of the soil moisture detectors,collector case,and acquisition motherboards collected from the Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Detection Data Center from 2018 to 2022.It summarizes and analyzes the 1 134 instances of fault phenomenon and characteristics in the DZN2 automatic soil moisture detector.The fault mainly includes inadequate daily inspections,loose components,oxidation,short circuits,etc.,and specifically summarize the methods of equipment from installation and use,operation and maintenance to emergency obstacle removal,which provides a reference for the equipment support personnel to improve the capabilities of fault identification and emergency maintenance ability.
