Abstract：The article utilizes lightning location data obtained from the Jiangxi Province Lightning Monitoring System from 2015 to 2019 in the Ganzhou area,the cumulative probability distribution characteristics of lightning current amplitude in the Ganzhou area were obtained through mathematical statistics and other methods.Comparing the fitting curves of the cumulative probability formulas for lightning current amplitudes of different polarities.Based on the analysis results,a more accurate calculation formula for the cumulative probability of lightning current amplitudes that conforms to the characteristics of Ganzhou City was provided.The accuracy of the derived formula was verified using lightning current data from 2020.Intended to provide indispensable technical information for further research on lightning resources and disaster prevention and reduction work in Ganzhou.
