Abstract:In order to effectively reduce the failure rate of heavy rain to rainstorm in the eastern part of Qinghai,this paper combined with the heavy rainfall weather process in the eastern part of Qinghai from September 6 to 7,2023,and analysis the aspects of large-scale circulation situation and water vapor transport,the occurrence,development and causes of rainstorm mesoscale system,and topographic uplift.The results show that this heavy rainfall is mainly composed of short-term rainstorm generated by strong convection in front of the front and large-scale stable precipitation behind the front.The strength of generation and dissipation of small-scale convective systems in front of the front,the maintenance time of the ground convergence line behind the front,as well as the abundant water vapor in the lower layer and the role of the plateau slope topography provide favorable conditions for precipitation.
