The article is based on precipitation data from 40 meteorological observation stations in northern Hebei Province from April to October 2015 to 2021,as well as daily and monthly precipitation records from Zushan Meteorological Station. It deeply analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics of precipitation days, cumulative precipitation, and heavy precipitation in northern Hebei Province. The research results show that the area where Zushan Station is located is the precipitation center with the highest number of precipitation days and cumulative precipitation in northern Hebei Province. The precipitation activity of Zushan Station is mainly concentrated in April September,in which rainstorm and heavy rainstorm events occur most frequently in July and August. The formation mechanism of the Zushan precipitation center is mainly influenced by the uplift effect of abundant water vapor in the Bohai Sea on the complex terrain of the region, which promotes the condensation of water vapor into clouds and generates precipitation during the rising process.
