Abstract：Duffing systems are commonly used in weak signal detection, Unfortunately, this method does not have any specific threshold. The question about bifurcation and stability is analyzed, and then a method to determine the chaos threshold is suggested by using Floquet exponents in periodic state. Simulation results verify the validity of this algorithm and the advantage of Floquet exponents as the threshold for chaos, namely simply calculation and accurate discrimination.
