Abstract：The balloon theodolite in high meteorological sounding is a very important sounding equipment. One of the new altitude measurement instrument of wind backup, GYR1 electronic balloon theodolite is advanced in data recording more then the ordinary balloon theodolite(70-I)。The system is Intelligent and used widely by handing the light, machine and electrinity technical design. So when it’s working , people only need to track balloons, other work is being done fully automatic. This paper introduces the structure, performance and working principle of GYR1 Electronic balloon theodolite, and talks about some technologies of use and maintenance ,by combining with normal use of experience.
