Abstract:Using MICAPS data of a heavy rain even from June 24 to 27, 2007 in Yichun prefecture, upper air circulation situation and Vapor conditions in middle and low level and temperature field were analyzed, the results showed that: upper trough moving eastward, subtropical high moving down east and going down south, the middle Vortex being produced, shear being produced and keeping in middle-low level, these would offer favorable term for the construction of the heavy rain. The severe convection weather happens when the warm-dry-air growing up in the upper reaches of Yichun and the temperature ridge towards to the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River. The water vapor was weakened because of the warm-dry-air’s effect, at the same time it has Severe thunderstorm character in the severe convection weather. According to these results, it will be working in strong precipitation forecast and weather service.
