Abstract：This paper introduces a automatic monitoring alarm system for GPS/MET station based on network extraction technology. Because the host system can access the configuration through IE browser, real-time monitoring for GPSMET station is achieved by means of webpage snatching procedures. The method of snatching at webpage content based on Inet OpenURL is described in detail. According to monitor the equipment, the design and some source programs of the database are put forward. Then, the design for the short message alarm module is introduced, and the examples of code conversion in SMS program are also given out.
