Abstract：Shot point time is the basis of all data processing in the working of the OBS. This paper analyses accuracy problems in shot point time during OBS operation and researches timing synchronization of the collection system. The OBS accurate timer is developed based on timing synchronization theory. Then, the recording for OBS shot point time is solved and OBS data processing is guaranteed.
