Abstract：Acoustic doppler current profilers measured the flow rate of the flow velocity profile by using acoustic doppler's principle. It is a new type of high-precision fluid measurement instrument. The doppler method compared with the traditional method, it has many advantages with high test resolution, accuracy, large amount of data and data integrity. It is especially suitable for complicated environment of fluid velocity and flow rate measurement. This paper expounded in detail the principle and method of acoustic doppler current profilers.
