High speed data acquisition system for lightning transient electric field measurement

Abstract:A high speed data acquisition system for lightning transient electric field measurement is designed by using the A/D conversion chip AD9057 and the lightning electric field sensor based on Pockels effect.And the hardware circuit and software flow diagram of this high speed acquisition system are given out.This system mainly includes lightning electric field sensor, high speed A/D conversion, data storage and data processing.Based on the design of hardware and software for the lightning field high speed acquisition system, the problem of speed matching between high speed A/D converting and low speed intelligent management in the process of data acquisition has been solved.Then, the signal acquisition of lightning transient electric field in the bandwidth of 0-10MHz is achieved.
