Abstract:Aiming to further complement and improve the existing lightning magnetic field observation equipments,a magnetic field measurement system based on magnetoresistive sensor chip HMC1002 is designed in this paper,which realizes the fast acquisition and storage of lightning magnetic field waveform.The basic principle of the magnetoresistive sensor and the structure of the detecting system are emphatically introduced.The complete magnetic field waveform data of triggered lightning and natural lightning have been obtained respectively by the test of artificial triggered lightning and natural lightning in Conghua area of Guangdong Province.And through comparing with the magnetic field data observed by the orthogonal circular antenna,the data consistency of the two is good,indicating that the system can effectively measure the lightning magnetic field.
