Abstract:Combined with the development history of sea water temperature observation technology at home and abroad, the observation methods of sea surface temperature (SST) are sorted out from three angles of sea,air and land.On this basis, the development trend of SST observation is pointed out.By combining sea,air and land together,a three-dimensional and real-time monitoring network has been established by using satellites, buoys, ships and shore-based ocean stations. The SST data of large area can be obtained effectively and continuously, and the SST data with high resolution and precision can be produced. The marine observation will enter a new era of multi-layer,three-dimensional,multi-angle,all-directional and all-weather,promoting the development of national marine environmental monitoring technology.
