Abstract:In order to do a good job in early warning and forecasting of large rainstorm in Changjiang river basin,this paper analyzes the characteristics of short-term heavy rainfall,typical weather situation and echo characteristics in heavy rainstorm by using the rainfall and radar mosaic data of heavy rainstorm process in Changjiang river basin from 2013 to 2022.It is concluded that the weather situation of rainstorm in Changjiang river basin is mainly divided into typical Meiyu type and subtropical high margin.The typical echo forms of short-term heavy rainfall include flocculent echo band,echo short band and squall line echo band,etc.The research results are expected to provide a reference for the early warning and forecasting of large floods in Changjiang river basin.
