The 5G Wi-Fi technology based wireless transmission equipment causes interference on the C-band weather radar echo, which severely affects the accuracy of meteorological forecast and brings certain influence on the meteorological working quality of civil aviation and even the flight safety of aircraft. This paper places an emphasis on the analysis of radio interference investigation process cases for the 714 CDP weather radar (268° orientation) in Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and offers the precautions required during radio interference investigation for weather radar, providing certain references for the operation personnel engaged in the safeguarding of weather radar.
