Abstract This paper depicts the submarine topography surveying with multi-beam sounding system, in order to grasp the depth,terrain and obstacle distribution at the submarine areas of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. After the high-precision data processing,submarine topography map was completed.The results discovered the distribution of obstacles,such as suspicious boat and dark dikes.Based on the foundation in the project,Qingdao Olympic Sailing Competition was hold successfully.
