Abstract To understand and master the construction of valve regulated sealed lead-acid battery and the principle of electrical discharge has great significance in hydrological telemetry, because it can help use accumulator concisely and lengthen its service life, so as to serve for the hydrological telemetry better. This context first analyzes the process for recharge and discharge of the battery, and then emphasizes some features of the PbSO4 that is caused by electrical discharge of the battery. Taking the problems of the battery in hydrological telemetry into account, we analyze something about this kind of condition briefly and give you some advice about the daily maintenance of the battery.
