Abstract The hourly data of temperature,relative humidity,pressure in Baodi double automatic weather station from January to June 2015 were compared and evaluated in this paper. The advantages of double sets of automatic weather station are discussed,which can effectively ensure the data integrity and reduce missing rate. The results show that temperature,relative humidity and air pressure have high consistent rate,low gross error rate and out-of-tolerance rate. But the 2 minute average wind speed and 0 cm ground temperature have larger difference with high gross error rate and out-of-tolerance rate. The data evaluation shows that the abnormal data can be found through analyzing the moving average of change characteristics. And the double automatic weather station will provide good foundation for accurate and reliable observation data.
