Abstract The failure rate of antenna control system accounts for 34% in the past nine years since the new generation weather radar CINRAD/CD has been running.This paper selects several typical fault cases of antenna control system,finding fault causes through observation,isolation,substitution,measurement and other methods based on fault phenomenon.The measures to eliminate and prevent the faults are also given out,which is helpful for the maintenance personnel to provide reference for the quick recovery of the same fault.
