Abstract Through the study of new generation weather radar in different segments of the work,the radar monitoring and fault locating system is designed and developed.The weather radar network and data transmission could be monitored in real-time.The abnormal situation could be alarmed in time via SMS,text message and sound as well as located the fault range by fault diagnosis.The automation of new generation weather radar monitoring is realized,improving the reliability and availability of the radar.
