Abstract Based on the system platform of MYSQL database,a marine remote sensing satellite database management system is established through designing the modules which are collecting observed data of TMI,SSMI,MODIS satellites,controlling data quality,processing and handling,managing and maintaining database.A special data source and data management system is provided to the users.Users are able to select relevant parameters depending on the demand so as to seek the data which meet the demand.Meanwhile,users can browse the quick-view images and obtain the data-packets required and user-guides related through the user interface,which achieves efficient query and downloads.
