Abstract A receiver failure occurred at Jiusan weather radar of Heilongjiang province.According to the working principle of the weather radar receiver system and the signal flow of each module,this paper tests and analyzes the spectrum for the each module's critical signal points of receiver system.By replacing the power amplifier module and the phase-locked loop module in repairing frequency source section,the RF excitation signal quality is improved,and the noise figure and phase noise calibration are also return to normal.By summarizing the faults handling process of the receiver,some references are provided for CINRAD/CC radar's technical security personnel to deal with such failures.
