Phenomenon identification of raindrop spectrometer in a snowfall process in Beijing

Abstract  At the end of 2016,Beijing city completed the layout of raindrop meters at the national surface meteorological observation station.The recognition of its precipitation has attracted much attention.By using the raindrop spectrometer data from two stations in Beijing (Observatory) and Fengtai and the other 18 national stations,this paper analyzes the phenomenon identification of raindrop spectrometer in a snowfall process in Beijing from 21th February,2017 to 22th February,2017.The phenomenon identification results from two types of raindrops spectrometer were verified.
