Abstract This paper uses scattering communication equipment to carry out non-line-of-sight transmission test for meteorological radar data which set up in the field,and verifies the feasibility of weather radar data transmission by using scattering communication equipment.The verification results show that,as an unconventional wireless transmission method,the scattering communication equipment can meet the non-line-of-sight transmission requirements under certain conditions,and enriching the means of weather radar data transmission.
