Analysis on lightning protection reconstruction for power supply lines of Meizhou radar station |

Abstract According to a lightning accident of Meizhou radar station on August 26,2016,this paper analyzes the radar overvoltage forming reason and the cause of device damage in the accident,and finds out the weak points of the system.The lightning protection system and power supply lines are improved.After the improvement,it has been running for 11 months.After three strong thunderstorms,there has been no equipment damage,which proves that the reconstruction is scientific and feasible.
