Analysis of fine-scale precipitation characteristics in Xiangtan area based on hourly precipitation |

Abstract Based on the hourly precipitation data from 82 automatic weather stations (AWS) in Xiangtan area during the period of 2010 to 2019,the spatial distribution and temporal variation characteristics of hourly precipitation in Xiangtan area were analyzed statistically.And the spatial difference and diurnal variation of precipitation in different seasons and regions were compared.The results lay a foundation for further study of fine-scale precipitation in Xiangtan area.
