Analysis for the influence of underlay on lightning activity in Guizhou |

Abstract Based on lightning location data and land cover type data from 2017 to 2019 in Guizhou,the relationship among lightning density,lightning intensity,lightning steepness and different land cover types is analyzed.The results show that there are obvious differences in average annual flash density among different land cover types in Guizhou.The average annual lightning intensity of construction land is the highest,and that of wetland water was lower than that of land in Guizhou.In Guizhou,strong lightning is more likely to occur in grassland and shrub area.The distribution of light and moderate lightning in construction land area is the highest,but the distribution of strong lightning is the lowest.The average intensity and steepness of different land cover types vary greatly,and the lightning of different land cover types is mainly light and moderate.
