Abstract This paper introduces the meteorological operation analysis and application of gale and precipitation based on GIS in Dalian area.This paper first explains the source and transmission of the data,introduces the treatment of gale and precipitation factors in detail.And the business application effects of two meteorological factors are given.At the same time,the precipitation factors are improved by combining the provincial bureau alarm platform and the rainfall alarm mode of meteorological station,in order to provide scientific decision-making basis for the meteorological forecast analysis and meteorological information service in Dalian.
