Abstract  Based on the state data of 50 regional stations in Tianjin, this paper analyzes the charging current of solar panel, the voltage drop speed of battery, the discharge current of battery, the voltage of battery and the intensity of communication signal, and forms a "two-level alarm" power supply and communication fault prediction method. This method sets the threshold through the historical extreme value, and corrects the early warning according to the future state data and station state. It can realize the early warning of power supply and communication faults in regional stations, and provide reference for the application of preventive operation and maintenance in automatic weather stations and meteorological equipment. The software application results show that the method can send out alarms in time, remind the on-duty personnel to check and pay attention to the station status, and provide support for regional station fault prediction.
