Abstract In order to make full use of the base data of the new generation Doppler weather radar,combined with the standard format of the new generation radar base data,this paper studies the method of reading and analyzing the base data by using Python language.The parsed data is stored in multiple Excel files according to different products and different scanning elevation angles.The parsed data is redrawn in Python and compared with the product image generated by the pup software to verify the accuracy of the base data analysis.The business application of the software can provide data basis for the analysis and research based on radar base data.
