Abstract  In view of the low recognition rate of low-level wind shear of laser wind detection radar, data quality control is carried out by using the data products of light detection and ranging(LiDAR) of Yulin Airport in Shanxi Province, and wind shear intensity factor is introduced to construct a sliding analysis method,so that low-level wind shear could be effectively identified.Based on the wind shear process under dust weather, continuous strong wind weather and daily change weather, combined with the aircraft wind shear report and the meteorological message of the airport automatic observation station, the point-by-point sliding discrimination and wind shear intensity identification of the wind speed of the top wind and crosswind profile on the glide path is carried out to verify the availability and effectiveness of the sliding analysis method. The example validation results for 3 different weather backgrounds indicate that:Through point by point sliding analysis,it can be judged that the height position corresponding to the maximum value of wind shear intensity factor in glide path is consistent with the height of wind shear reported by the unit. When wind shear occurs, the spatio-temporal variation of crosswind on the slide is obviously greater than that of the head wind.In addition, the strong fluctuation of wind speed in a short time at the same height is also the cause of wind shear.
