The conceptual category of meteorological observation and its interpretation and application |

Abstract In order to standardize the connotation and extension of the terminology,formulation,and definition of meteorological observation,and to enhance the systematic research level of the principles,methods,and technologies of meteorological observation,this article reconstructs the four-dimensional and ten degree conceptual categories of the principles and methods of meteorological observation based on induction,deduction,and analogy,explains the three nine categories and twenty-three types of technical systems of meteorological observation,analyzes the basic characteristics of thirty commonly used meteorological observation technologies,and aims to provide theoretical support for the development of meteorological observation technology.
