Abstract  In order to better carry out the monitoring and early warning of hail weather in summer in Jiangxi, weather maps, lightning data, radar puzzles and other materials were used. The principles and analysis methods of meteorology and radar meteorology were adopted to analyze the echoes of two super unit hail events in Wuyuan and Shicheng,Jiangxi from July to August 2022.The results showed that the hail weather patterns in Wuyuan and Shicheng were different, but both were in weak vertical wind shear environments.Wuyuan hail belongs to micro super monomers, with a combined reflectivity intensity of 55-60 dBZ and a maintenance time of about 10 minutes.Shicheng hail belongs to the classic supercell, with a combined reflectivity of 60-70 dBZ and a maintenance time of at least 30 minutes. The actual location of hail occurrence in Wuyuan and Shicheng corresponds to the lightning intensive area. The strongest lightning strikes in both places exceed 50 times per 10 minutes and are concentrated between 16:00 and 17:00.It is hoped that the analysis results can provide a basis for identifying and monitoring hail echoes in weak vertical wind environments during the summer season in Jiangxi.
