| Dynamic comparison analysis of ultrasonic anemometer based on vector averaging |

Abstract Using the original measurement values of the ultrasonic anemometer at Tianjin Heiniucheng National Meteorological Observation Station from April to June 2023,compare and analyze the calculation results of the wind direction and speed average method and vector average method in the Ground Meteorological Automatic Observation Specification,and conduct consistency analysis between the vector average results of the ultrasonic anemometer and the wind direction and speed data of the operational mechanical rotating anemometer.Research has shown that the average wind direction of ultrasonic anemometers calculated using the Ground Meteorological Automatic Observation Specification method has a high degree of overall consistency with the vector average wind direction.The average wind speed is generally larger and the relative error dispersion range is far greater than 1% to 4%.Except for the 5 m/s and above range with a small sample size,as the wind speed range increases,the system error of the average wind speed of the ultrasonic anemometer and the mechanical rotary anemometer drifts negatively,and the standard deviation shows an increasing trend.
