Risk analysis of lightning disaster of ancient and famous trees |

Abstract The article uses lightning location monitoring data from Anhui Province from 2010 to 2022 and thunderstorm day data from Maanshan City from 1956 to 2014,and applies lightning risk theory to construct a lightning risk calculation model for ancient and famous trees.After calculation,It is conduded that the risk of personal injury and loss caused by lightning strikes on ginkgo trees is relatively high,and the risk of loss of natural and cultural heritage is relatively small.The probability of physical damage to ginkgo trees caused by lightning strikes is low.However,during thunderstorm weather,the personal safety risk of avoiding under trees is relatively high.Warning signs,lightning warnings,and laying asphalt under passages can be used to prevent lightning accidents.It is expected that the research results can provide reference for lightning protection work of ancient and famous trees in China.
