Comparative evaluation of two types of 2D ultrasonic wind speed sensor calibration |

Abstract In order to evaluate the performance of the 2D ultrasonic wind direction and speed sensor,a 70 m/s wind speed measurement calibration system is required for its calibration.Two commonly used 2D ultrasonic wind direction and speed sensors,orthogonal and reflective,were selected,and corresponding fixed structural components and cables were designed.At the same time,the measured data of the standard and sensor were read to complete the calibration work.By analyzing the calibration results of two types of 2D ultrasonic wind direction and speed sensors,it was found that the calibration results were both qualified,but the calibration results of orthogonal wind speed and wind speed direction characteristics were more stable.The research results provide a basis for the commercial operation of orthogonal and reflective 2D ultrasonic wind direction and speed sensors.
