Temporal and spatial variation of rainstorm in Gulang County of Gansu Province |

Abstract Based on the daily precipitation observation data of 18 villages and towns in Gulang County,Gansu Province from 2013 to 2022,the precipitation data with daily precipitation ≥30 mm are selected to analyze the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of rainstorm in Gulang County.The results show that there were 35 rainstorms in Gulang County from 2013 to 2022,and the rainstorms showed an increasing trend,with a change rate of about 0.4 times per year,passing the significance test of 0.01.The 77% of rainstorms occur from June to August in summer,with the highest frequency of rainstorms in August,accounting for 46%.The frequency of rainstorms decreases gradually from south to north,and the frequency of rainstorms is basically consistent with the spatial distribution of rainstorm amount.
