Abstract In order to further improve the ability of Doppler weather radar technology to extract features such as hail,tornadoes,and supercell storms,a systematic analysis was conducted on the correlation between convective effective potential energy,0 km to 6 km vertical wind shear,wet bulb temperature 0 ℃ height characteristics,and convective weather systems.A diagnostic scheme for hail weather systems was constructed.The research results show that the reasonable application of Doppler weather radar technology has positive practical significance for improving hail warning,and has significant application value for optimizing meteorological forecasting services and agricultural production safety.
