Abstract Meteorological observation is a prerequisite for weather forecasting and meteorological services.As one of the important means of meteorological observation,weather radar has also received increasing attention.Due to the complexity of the weather radar system,which consists of numerous components,any failure or damage to any component will inevitably cause the radar to malfunction.Radar work involves many links,and any problem in any link will also cause the radar to malfunction,greatly affecting its role in meteorological operations.Therefore,a diagnosis and analysis are conducted on a case of the new generation weather radar in Linhe,where the transmitter malfunctioned due to an abnormal power supply in a building,resulting in the radar being unable to turn on.The process and methods of troubleshooting are summarized,and it is hoped that this can help stations with similar faults to troubleshoot in a timely manner.
