Application of fault tree analysis in fault diagnosis of new generation weather radar |

Abstract Aiming at the difficulties in fault diagnosis and maintenance of the new generation weather radar,an algorithm based on radar system fault tree is proposed.This algorithm combines the working principle of the new generation weather radar to construct a fault tree for the transmission subsystem of the new generation weather radar.Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis schemes in this algorithm,the probability of system failure is calculated to be 0.65 when the probability of the underlying event is 5%.At the same time,when all sub events are "AND gates",the underlying events are independent of each other.At this time,any underlying event failure will cause the entire system to fail.Research has shown that the fault tree-based radar fault diagnosis algorithm can effectively improve the quality of radar support,and enhance the efficiency of fault diagnosis.
