| Discussing of Data quality Detecting and controlling in Doppler weather radar |

Abstract A method of echo intensity and speed data quality detecting in Doppler weather radar is proposed in this paper. The real time echo intensity data is compared with a stencil, which collecting ground echo intensity data on clear day in calibrated radar with uniform parameter standard. And the comparative error is analyzed on the measured and theoretical value of the speed data through phase-shift. Based on the above comparison, the echo intensity and speed data is detected and corrected to achieve quality controlling of weather radar data.
